Vintage Blue Pencil Skirt

Hello and Happy Thursday!

Today I am wearing a wonderfully comfortable and chic blue vintage pencil skirt that came from my lucky Goodwill. The belt is one of my favorites and comes from a little store around the corner from my work called Runway Boutique

Every Journey Starts With Some First Steps

 Here's the first -hopefully of many posts of things that I'm making as I teach myself to sew. This bag is a birthday present for a friend. 

So the idea is, to sew 20 bags. I figure that by then I'll be good at it and can move on to something else. Please send ideas or requests if you have any-I'd like the challenge :-)

Blue Door Tuesday

Hi! so it's definitely Summer :-)

My work friends and I took a little walk today and we found this gorgeous blue door!

It just went so well with my outfit we had to take a photo. 

Dress- CheapO dress shop $25

Tights: Target $5

Belt: Goodwill $2

Shoes: Airwalk from local Goodwill (unworn!) $7
